Utstillingen er basert på samiske myter og sagn, historien om forskningen rundt nordlyset og dens betydning og kobling til Altas historie. Utstillingen viser også vitenskapen om nordlyset og hvorfor dette fascinerende lysfenomenet oppstår. BorealisAlta er en utstilling som samler vitenskap og myter i et senter som vil være både en støtte og en attraksjon i seg selv. BorealisAlta ligger i Altas nye kirke og inkluderer også visning i Nordlyskatedralen.

The exhibition is based on Sami myths and stories, the history of research around the Northern Lights and its significance and connection to Altas history. The exhibition also shows the science of the northern lights and why this fascinating light phenomenon occurs. Borealis Alta is an exhibition that brings together science and myths in a center that will be both a support and an attraction in itself. Borealis Alta is located in Altas new church and also includes a view in the Northern lights Cathedral.
