Gargia Fjellstue/Lodge

  Gargia fjellstue er en fjellstue som ligger i bygda Gargia i Alta kommune i Finnmark. Den ble oppført rundt 1850 som en av Statens fjellstuer, og ga losji til reisende over Beskades. Under andre verdenskrig ble fjellstua brent av tyskerne, men den ble gjenoppbygd i 1947 med det som i dag er hovedbygninga på gården.

Fjellstua består i 2019 av 5 bygninger, med restaurant og 12 rom til utleie.

  Gargia mountain lodge is a mountain lodge located in the village Gargia in Alta municipality in Finnmark. It was built around 1850 as one of the State’s mountain lodges, and provided accommodation for travelers across Beskades. During World War II, the lodge was burned by the Germans, but it was rebuilt in 1947 with what is today the main building on the farm.

Fjellstua in 2019 consists of 5 buildings, with restaurant and 12 rooms for rent.
