Seiland er en egenartet og vakker del av Vest-Finnmarks øynatur, med små og store fjorder omkranset av bratte fjell som stuper i havet. Seilands to isbreer er de nordligste i Skandinavia, der Melkelva som renner fra Seilandsjøkelen er et bindeledd mellom bre og fjord. Til å være så langt mot nord er deler av nasjonalparken forbløff
ende grønn og frodig. De steile kystfjellene er hekkeplass for en rik bestand av rovfugl.
Slik kommer du til Seiland nasjonalpark:
Seiland sør: E6 nordover fra Alta, riksvei 883 til Storekorsnes, hurtigbåt herfra til Hakkstabben/Altneset på Seiland.
Seiland nord: Riksvei 94 sørover fra Hammerfest, ta vestover til Akkarfjord, ferge herfra til Kjerringholmen på Seiland.
Videre transport inn til nasjonalparken skjer enten til fots eller med båt. Båtskyss inn i nasjonalparken kan ordnes med Seiland explore eller Seiland House. lokale båteiere kan også benyttes.

Det er ingen åpne hytter i nasjonalparken.
Tips:
Fottur til Seilandsjøkelen fra Store Bekkarfjord, Altneset eller Hønseby er å anbefale. Det er også fint å oppleve nasjonalparken fra sjøsiden. Innerst i Store Bekkarfjorden er det lagt ut fortøyningsbøye.
Seiland is a distinctive and beautiful part of West Finnmark’s island nature, with small and large fjords surrounded by steep mountains that plunge into the sea. Seiland’s two glaciers are the northernmost in Scandinavia, where the Milk River that flows from Seilandsjøkelen which links between glacier and fjord. To be as far to the north is part of the National Park astonishing green and lush. The steep coastal mountains are nesting place for a rich population of birds of prey. 
How to reach Seiland National Park:
Seiland south: E6 north from Alta, Highway 883 to Storekorsnes, catamarans here to Hakkstabben / Altneset on Seiland. Seiland north: Highway 94 south from Hammerfest, take west to Akkarfjord, ferry from here to Kjerringholmen on Seiland.
Further transport to the national park is either by foot or boat. Boat into the national park can be arranged with Seiland Explore or Seiland House. Local boat owners can also be ask for transport.

There are no open cabins in the national park.
tips:
Hike to Seilandsjøkelen from Store Bekkarfjord, Altneset or Hønseby is recommended. It’s also nice to experience the national park from the seaside. In Bekkarfjord there is a mooring buoy.
